JOHN BELL

DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING AND FORECASTING

John Bell joined Xebec in 2022 and serves as Director of Financial Planning and Forecasting.  Mr. Bell is a banking and real estate professional with extensive experience implementing strategic planning initiatives and responsible for the creation and management of various operating and financial forecasts necessary to achieve Xebec’s strategic vision.  Additionally, Mr. Bell is responsible for variance analysis reports, budgeting, and financial models used to advise management on decisions to improve performance, minimize risks and capture new opportunities both within the company and externally.

Prior to joining Xebec, Mr. Bell served as Vice President at Hilltop Holdings, where he supervised a team within the Treasury department with a focus on solving complex problems in accounting and finance, including, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, liquidity management, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting.  Prior to Hilltop Holdings, Mr. Bell provided mergers and acquisition advisory, derivative hedging and  investment consulting services for financial institutions.

Mr. Bell attended Southern Methodist University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2006. Mr. Bell earned his CFA Charter in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Masters in Quantitative Finance from the University of London.
